Family Riding

Welcome to Cowboy Up Trail Riding

Horse trail rides on Queensland's Darling Downs at Emu Creek, just a short 20 minutes north of Crows Nest via Toowoomba  Australia. You can come and experience  riding on our friendly, good natured Quarter Horses. In comfortable western saddles, you will have a relaxing ride through a working cattle property.

Our trails will take you through picturesque country where wallabies, wild deer and native bird life thrive. From rolling hills you will witness magnificent views of surrounding mountains and farmland.

Your hosts, Peter and Gill Gould have over 30 years experience in the western horse industry training and breeding Quarter Horses.  Peter is a ‘trainer to the stars’ having worked on several films including ‘Australia’. Peter is a great teacher specialising in beginners and people who haven’t ridden for a long time

The meaning behind "Cowboy Up"

cow·boy up   (ko̵ubo̵i′ upVerb

  • It means when things are getting tough you have to get back up, dust yourself off and keep trying.

  • When faced with a hard chore, it's a shift in attitude from "can't" to a positive "can-do" with confidence and a non-complaining spirit that becomes contagious.

  • Used in the same sense as the expression "get yourself together."

Let us take you on a relaxing ride to give you the time to "Cowboy Up" ready for your day.
